Surrey County Council and Surrey Waste Management (SITA) have been working towards a planning proposal for a municipal waste incinerator for the disposal of Surrey's waste.

One third taller than Nelsons column, this seventy metre, 230 feet high monster will spew noxious gas into the atmosphere, directly into the path of aircraft from or to Gatwick and all over Surrey and West Sussex.
